LaserCard Hires Kevin McKenna as Vice President of Sales, Americas
Leading the Company’s Expanded Focus on Secure Identity in the Americas
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – July 7, 2010 – LaserCard Corporation (NASDAQ:LCRD; a leading provider of secure ID solutions, today announced the appointment of Kevin McKenna as Vice President of Sales, Americas. Based in Washington, D.C., McKenna will be responsible for leading the Company’s sales and government relations activities in North, Central and South America.
McKenna joins LaserCard with more than a decade of experience in the hardware, software and services markets, most recently as President and COO of Paraquis Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm. Previously, McKenna sold and implemented complex identity and information systems during his management roles at two of North America’s leading identity solutions and information technology providers. McKenna also served for seven years as an Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

As an inducement to join LaserCard, McKenna was granted a non-statutory stock option for 20,000 shares with an exercise price of $4.635. The stock option has a seven-year term with 25% vesting after one year and 6.25% vesting quarterly over the following twelve quarters.
